How the Game is Played
Mega Millions winning numbers are selected every Tuesday and Friday
at 8:00 PM Pacific time.
On above-mentioned days and times, a set of numbers are drawn, consisting of 5 white balls and one Mega ball. The set of white balls are selected from a pool of 56 balls, each uniquely marked from 1 through 56. The Mega ball is selected from a pool of 46 balls, again each uniquely marked from 1 through 46.
The aim of the game is for players to match their preselected number set(s) to the winning set. Different match combinations result in different payout amounts.
