How the Game is Played
Powerball winning numbers are drawn every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 PM
Eastern time.
On above-mentioned days and times, a set of numbers are picked, which consist of 5 white balls and one Powerball. The set of white balls are picked from a pool of 55 balls, each uniquely marked from 1 through 55. The Powerball is picked from a pool of 42 balls, again each uniquely marked from 1 through 42.
The aim of the game is for players to match their preselected number set(s) to the winning set. Different match combinations result in different payout amounts.
